From luxuriously appointed 3-bedroom condos, to self-contained studios or nostalgic camping and caravan sites, you’re sure to find your own piece of paradise and a home away from home on your next Whitsunday escape.

Two- and three-bedroom luxury condos and cottages offer families and small groups ample space to spread out, relax and indulge in modern creature comforts. 3-bedroom options include the premium Whitehaven, Pool View or Family Condo, all positioned close to the central entertainment precinct. These spacious suites offer exceptional facilities including gourmet kitchens, coffee machines, smart TVs, and rain head showers. Each 3-bedroom condo can accommodate up to eight guests, with a king or queen bed and ensuite in the main bedroom, queen bed in the second bedroom, and four single bunks in the third. Large living areas allow plenty of space for the extended family. Cook up a tropical seafood feast on your barbecue and enjoy it alfresco style on your enormous private veranda. Lush tropical gardens surround these suites, providing a tranquil retreat for you and your loved ones. Within a few leisurely paces the resort’s many attractions await. Two-bedroom accommodation options are also perpetually popular with families, featuring a roomy design, stylish and contemporary décor, and private balconies to soak up the relaxed ambience. Options include the Premium, Premium Deluxe, Spa or Holiday Cottages. All cottages feature fully equipped kitchens, private bathrooms, air-conditioning, ceiling fans and spacious verandas set amidst spectacular gardens. Premium and Premium Deluxe options accommodate up to eight guests, with washing machines, dryers and dishwashers for added convenience, while Spa and Holiday Cottages accommodate up to six guests.

Villas and Studios

Villas offer a great mid-range budget accommodation option, in both one- and two-bedroom configurations. The two-bedroom villas feature comfortable and classic furnishings, and a host of features such as full kitchen, spacious veranda, air-conditioning, and smart TVs. With a queen bed in the master bedroom and a double and single bunk in the second bedroom, these rooms offer comfortable accommodation for up to five guests.

The one-bedroom villas feature bright, ultra-modern décor for that tropical fun feel. They are perfectly suited to couples or small families seeking the space and privacy of a separate bedroom. These rooms feature a queen bed as well as set of single bunks in the hallway, a kitchenette with microwave, private bathroom, and veranda with outdoor seating for two to enjoy sunset tipples in tropical paradise surrounds.

Studios are perfect for short stays, budget holidays and business trips. Surrounded by lush gardens, these self-contained cabins are bright and breezy, with tasteful contemporary décor and your own private kitchen so you can whip up a feast. The resort offers standard and deluxe studio options. Both feature a kitchenette with microwave, veranda with outdoor seating for two, and a bedding configuration of one queen bed and two single bunks. The Deluxe Studios feature modern furnishings, with the option to accommodate a fifth guest on a trundle bed.

BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort provides the perfect destination for your next camping, caravan or motorhome adventure, with stunning sites and exceptional amenities adding a touch of glamour to this nostalgic tradition.

Powered ensuite sites offer the ultimate in convenience, with fully tiled private bathrooms ensuring there’s no need for midnight runs to the nearest amenities block. The powered slab sites are some of the largest in Airlie Beach, offering a sense of peace and privacy. Drive-through options are available. Beautiful, powered grass sites are ideal for tents and camper trailers.

All campsites are surrounded by a lush mini rainforest of palms, fragrant shrubs and rock gardens, forming your own private, tranquil retreat amidst the resort’s outstanding facilities.

A large camp kitchen is located a short walk from the main entertainment precinct. It features stainless steel benches, hot plates, barbecues, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge – everything you need to whip up a family feast or simple snack. With a huge plasma television and seating for up to 60 people, it’s little wonder this ‘glamping’ kitchen is a social hotspot! Meet new friends, swap travel tales, and bask in the balmy warm evening atmosphere.

There are ample additional barbecues and two spotlessly clean amenities blocks dotted throughout the resort. These ultra-modern facilities feature a host of thoughtful touches to make your holiday a breeze, including ample clothes hooks, huge changing area and even a hairdryer! Families are also well catered for, with large family bathrooms with lots of bench space, baby bath, and toddler hip bath. Each amenities block also boasts a coin-operated laundry.

Group Accommodation

Our modern, dormitory style accommodation, the Bunk House, offers purpose-built accommodation for schools and other groups. The Bunk House has 18 rooms, including an accessible room, and sleeps 71 guests, with its own dining/entertainment area and full access to resort facilities.

A dedicated Groups and Events Coordinator is on-hand to ensure every detail of your group booking is perfect – from first enquiry to final check-out. Customised tour and catering packages are also available, to suit your special interest or your group’s specific needs.

Accessible Accommodation

BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort is dedicated to ensuring all guests can enjoy a safe, comfortable and enjoyable stay. They are accredited as a Quality Tourism Accredited Business in Accessible Tourism in the categories of Limited Mobility, Cognitive/Autism, Low Vision, Low Hearing and Wheelchairs & Scooters. They are also proudly Accessible Accommodation Qualified, meeting the Accessible Accommodation standard for the Assisted Wheelchair User category.

The resort offers a Deluxe Studio room with a range of thoughtful adaptations designed to meet the needs of guests who are blind or have low vision. Cabin 12 is designed with a lower kitchen and furniture, contrasting colours, Braille signage, 3D clock and raised tactile markers on appliances. They also offer a Visual Aides’ box, with A4 magnifying sheet and liquid level detector to any guests who may find it helpful.

The resort offers five accessible rooms catering to the needs of wheelchair users and guests with limited mobility. These include three accessible Deluxe Studios and two 2-bedroom Premium Cottage Deluxe cabins. The Deluxe Studios accommodate up to five guests, while the Premium Cottage Deluxe sleeps up to six. The Accessible Studios are spread throughout the park, while the accessible cottages are located between the main entertainment precinct and the Animal Park, towards the back of the resort grounds.

Each accessible cabin has a ramp and a wider floor plan for easy access, as well as an accessible bathroom with fixed grab bars, handrails and shower seats. These rooms are bright and breezy with tasteful contemporary décor and their own lush, secluded garden. They are self-contained, enabling guests to prepare their own meals. There is underbed clearance for a hoist. A portable ramp is also available, providing ease of access to other cabins if travelling with family and friends.

The large amenities block near the powered slab sites offers a private, accessible bathroom. The camp kitchen and many other facilities throughout the resort are also wheelchair accessible.
