About the Role (Contract):

Do you have a passion for tourism and a talent for crafting immersive descriptions? Vacayit is seeking a talented content editor to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. In this position, you'll play a vital role in crafting engaging and sensory audio experiences for Destination Marketing Organisations (DMOs), tourism operators, hotels and events. We are looking for someone to commit to up to 15 hours per week, with some flexibility to accommodate project needs. You will report to and work closely with our Head of Content. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years  proven experience crafting compelling content, preferably with tourism experience.

  • A portfolio showcasing your ability to create engaging and informative content.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for storytelling.

  • An eye for detail and a proven track record of meeting deadlines consistently.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating effectively within a team.

  • Ability to follow style writing and content guidelines

  • (Preferred) A passion for accessibility and inclusivity in the tourism industry.
