Guest Accommodation
The historic original homestead at Hope Farm was first constructed in 1880 for Dr Hope, Western Australia’s first Commissioner for Public Health. The Guesthouse offers three themed guest rooms housed within a self-contained annex of the historic homestead. Each room radiates the romantic charm of yesteryear while offering modern-day luxuries and amenities to ensure guests’ comfort and privacy, including the addition of newly renovated ensuite bathrooms for all guest suites. The Sacred Kingfisher, Mistletoebird and Rainbow Bee-Eater suites are each named after the birds depicted in the stunning stained-glass windows that feature in each room. These hand-made works of art illuminate in a burst of vibrant colour when lit by the morning sun. Snuggle up in the softness of luxury linens, enjoy the comfort of reverse-cycle air-conditioning, and take advantage of in-room coffee and tea making facilities. Every room features a flat-screen TV and complimentary high-speed WiFi for guest’s use. Or disconnect from technology and reconnect with loved ones as you bask in the tranquillity of this peaceful country hideaway. A charming guest lounge with plush seating and open fire offers the perfect setting to enjoy a quiet drink and reminisce on the day’s discoveries.
The Grounds and Surrounds
Hope Farm Guesthouse is nestled in a peaceful setting at the base of Mount Bakewell, offering stunning views of the mountain and surrounding rural landscape. The property itself features extensive landscaped formal gardens and a small shiraz vineyard for guests to explore.
