Welcome to Noosa North Shore Retreat, your slice of paradise on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Noosa North Shore Retreat is nestled amidst the pristine natural beauty of the Great Sandy National Park, just a 20-minute drive and short, relaxing ferry ride from Noosa’s famous and buzzing Hastings Street precinct. The location is also within 3 minutes’ drive to the beach. At Noosa North Shore Retreat, there are several accommodation types available to suit your group size, style and budget.

The accommodation types are split into two areas – the Retreat, and the Holiday Park. The reception area, which is where all guests will check in, is in front of the Retreat section. Within the reception building you will also find the restaurant, indoor bouldering gym, convenience store and bottle shop. The Holiday Park entrance is approximately 800 metres down the road from where guests check in at reception.

We will describe each accommodation type in detail so you can make an informed decision about which style will best suit the kind of experience you are looking for. Whichever accommodation type you choose, you’ll find ample areas to relax, unwind and enjoy soaking up the sunshine that this beautiful area is famous for. You can be rest assured your perfect holiday awaits right here at Noosa North Shore Retreat.

Glamping Tents

Our glamping tents are the most luxe of our accommodation offerings and we like to think of them as the star of the show, here at Noosa North Shore Retreat.

Located within the Holiday Park section of the retreat, our brand new, modern and stylish glamping tents allow guests to seamlessly experience the perfect combination of nature and luxury. Each glamping tent is fitted with a comfortable king-sized bed, as well as a bunkbed. Glamping tents can sleep up to four, so are a perfect option if you have kids who are accompanying you on your holiday. You can be self-sufficient or dine at the restaurants on-site – the choice is yours, as our glamping tents also include kitchenette facilities equipped with microwave, toaster and kettle. Also included is a modern, private ensuite bathroom, and a private expansive deck. The deck is the perfect place to sip a morning coffee, unwind with your beverage of choice after a day exploring the great outdoors. With barbecue areas just a short stroll away, you can easily cook up a delicious meal for your family. However you prefer to spend your holiday, our glamping tents allow you to immerse yourself in the serenity of nature without compromising on modern comforts or a refreshing night’s sleep.

Dog-friendly Campsites

Our dog-friendly campsites are also located within the Holiday Park section of Noosa North Shore Retreat. These campsites are a great option if you or the people you are travelling with have a caravan, motorhome or tent. All our campsites are dog-friendly, welcoming both service dogs and pets. All Holiday Park guests, including both glampers and campers, have access to our onsite Holiday Park pool, guest laundry, and centrally located communal barbecue facilities.

There are three categories of campsites to choose from.

Our first choice is our Deluxe Water Powered Sites. These well-equipped campsites offer the perfect blend of tranquillity and practicality, with access to both power and a water tap. They are the perfect solution for those seeking to connect with nature without losing connection to modern conveniences. They are a popular choice for those travelling in caravans and motorhomes. Both slab and grass sites are available.

For those who simply need electricity, our powered sites are an excellent option, with both slab and grass sites available to suit your requirements. These sites are spaced throughout the park, within easy reach of the park’s multiple amenity blocks.

For those looking to really switch off, get back to basics and enjoy a nostalgic camping experience, our unpowered sites offer an idyllic off-the-grid escape amidst the beauty of nature. Our unpowered sites are dotted throughout the Holiday Park, with several perched on the edge of our onsite dam.

Cottages

Our cottages are located within the Noosa North Shore Retreat area, and are a great option for a family, or a group of travellers, as they can sleep between four to ten people.

They are available in one, two, three and four-bedroom configurations. Spacious and airy, these cottages are of a timber construction and are all fully self-contained and include the comforts you’d expect, like air-conditioning, private bathrooms, full kitchen facilities, and cosy and relaxing living spaces. All our cottages also include a private outdoor area, for you to make the most of the sunshine and enjoy the surrounding nature. The interior decor is practical and comfortable. Most furnishings are timber, with a neutral colour scheme. Each type of cottage includes a different bedding configuration and guest capacity.

One-bedroom cottages contain a king-sized bed, and two roll-aways, if required. The maximum capacity is four guests. The kitchen, living room and dining layout is open plan.

Two-bedroom cottages include a king split bed in the main bedroom, and King split option and single bunk beds in the second bedroom, sleeping up to six guests. These cottages include a full basic kitchen and a living and dining area.

The bedding configuration of three-bedroom cottages feature a king bed in both the main and second bedrooms, and a king bed and one set of bunkbeds in the third bedroom. The maximum sleeping capacity is eight. Living, dining areas and full kitchen facilities are also included.

Our four-bedroom cottage features a king bed in the main bedroom, a queen bed in the second and third bedrooms, and a double bed in the fourth bedroom. There’s also a sofa bed in one of the living areas, accommodating up to ten guests in total. A fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, as well as two expansive indoor living areas await for ultimate comfort. A private barbecue area is located on the terrace.

Pool View Rooms and Motel Rooms

Pool View rooms provide direct access to the pool, and are a great option for families, friends or couples on a budget. Interiors are simple, versatile and functional. Each Pool View unit features a fully equipped kitchen, a dining space, a lounge area to relax in and a private bathroom. Our Pool View rooms are available in one and two-bedroom configurations. They feature fan cooling without air-conditioning.

One-Bedroom Pool View rooms feature one king-sized bed, one set of bunkbeds and one single bed. The maximum sleeping capacity is five.

Two-Bedroom Pool View rooms include one king and one set of bunkbeds in the first bedroom, and one king, one set of bunkbeds and one single bed in the second bedroom. Each of the bedrooms has its own ensuite. The kitchen, lounge and dining area are open and spacious.

Our motel rooms are a great option if you are on a budget and not planning on doing any cooking while you are on holiday. These rooms can sleep up to four guests, and include essential amenities like a mini fridge, kettle and toaster. These motel rooms do not have a kitchen. The bedding configuration is one king and one set of bunkbeds. Essentially, a one-bedroom Pool View room joined with a Motel Room makes up the two-bedroom Pool View configuration.

Lake View Units

If you’re the kind of person who enjoys nothing more than sitting back and unwinding beside a serene water vista, then the Lake View units are the perfect option for you. Situated near Lake Cooroibah (PRON: ‘Koo-roy-buh’), these units can comfortably accommodate up to seven guests. All our Lake View units have two bedrooms, a small, basic kitchen, a dining area, and a two-way bathroom which services both the bedrooms. The bedding configuration is a king in the main bedroom shared with the open dining space , and two sets of bunkbeds and a single bed in the second bedroom. These units feature fan cooling.

These functional water view units offer a relaxing setting for your next escape, right in the heart of a natural playground. With everything you need, you’ll find freedom to focus your attention on quality time together and the abundant natural attractions of the surrounding Noosa North Shore.

Accessibility

Noosa North Shore Retreat is located at 1 Beach Road, Noosa North Shore. The phone number for reception and reservations is 07 5447 1225. The shop and reception opening hours are Monday to Thursday: 7 AM to 4 PM, Friday and Saturday: 7 AM to 8 PM and Sunday: 7AM to 3 PM. Guests who expect to arrive outside of these opening hours are advised to call ahead to make check-in arrangements.

Service animals are warmly welcomed in all room types and throughout all areas of Noosa North Shore Retreat. There are several open spaces suitable for toileting service animals throughout the expansive grounds of the retreat. Guests should also be aware that pet dogs are also warmly welcomed in the camping areas of the holiday park, and on the outdoor deck area of the onsite restaurant.

All Cottages, Motel Rooms, Pool View Rooms and Lake View Rooms are located on the ground level, without a requirement to climb stairs to access them. Wheelchair users and guests with limited mobility should note that entry to glamping tents does require a small step up. If you have specific accessibility needs, such as wheelchair access, there are room types that cater for these requirements. If you have selected a Pool View Room and you require ramp access, rooms 41 – 48 have this feature. In addition, there are some Pool View and Lake View rooms which contain accessible ensuite bathrooms. Please request this at the time of booking and our staff will be more than happy to accommodate.

Accessible toilets and showers are also available within the Holiday Park area. They are located next to the new amenities block.
