Noosa North Shore Retreat Experiences Accessibility Information

At Noosa North Shore Retreat, we strive to create family-friendly experiences that cater for a range of ages and abilities.

Our restaurant chef can cater for various dietary needs upon request, including gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan alternatives so everyone can enjoy their meal out. Please speak to our friendly wait staff to discuss your dietary requirements.

If you’re travelling with an assistance animal, please note that domestic dogs are permitted in the outdoor deck area or the retreat’s restaurant and bar.

Our extensive range of onsite activities all offer differing levels of accessibility, depending on your individual requirements. Please chat to our friendly team to discuss the accessibility of onsite activities with respect to your individual needs.

The Cooloola Great Walk is rated a Grade 4 hiking track, considered suitable for experienced hikers. It has very steep inclines, few facilities and limited directional signage as it progresses. Please consider these factors before heading out on the trail, taking into account your own physical fitness and abilities.

The best way to explore the Cooloola Recreation Area of the Great Sandy National Park is on foot or via four-wheel-drive. Conventional vehicle access is limited beyond the bitumen road which leads to Noosa North Shore Retreat. Cooloola beach and inland tracks ar``e rough and suitable for high clearance four-wheel-drive vehicles only. To access these tracks, you’ll require a Queensland National Parks Vehicle Access Permit, available online from the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service. Take care when planning your beach driving experience, as ongoing erosion and tidal conditions may impede travel.
