Safari Lodge Overview
Far away from the stresses of city life, Safari Lodge sits happily between the two World Heritage Areas of the lush Daintree Rainforest and the pristine Great Barrier Reef. Nestled in the heart of Cape Tribulation in Tropical North Queensland, Safari Lodge offers an extraordinary rainforest experience while offering the perfect base for exploring this famous region.
Sleep in the jungle and enjoy the sounds of the rainforest at night or rise early to experience the sunrise over beautiful Myall beach only minutes away. Experience the region without the crowds. Whether you’re here to relax or to participate in the numerous activities this area has to offer, friendly and informative staff can advise and arrange your reef and rainforest holiday plans.
Situated just 400 metres from the beach, Safari Lodge offers a choice of secluded cabins or campsites, as well as a swimming pool, clean amenities, camp kitchen and barbecue areas in the tropical Daintree rainforest. The Safari Lodge cabins offer configurations of king (with or without ensuites), twin or triple, and camp sites are enjoyed for their location, ease of access and range of facilities.
In addition to a fully equipped camp kitchen, the Turtle Rock Café is also located on site, allowing guests to stroll over to the café in the morning to tuck into a hearty breakfast made from local produce or to satiate their hunger with a delicious lunch treat.
Also onsite is the check in office for Ocean Safari, which offers an exhilarating ride to snorkel the pristine Great Barrier Reef on two half-day eco tours visiting two different snorkel destinations, each with an extraordinary array of marine life and coral species.
Along with the Turtle Rock Cafe and Ocean Safari, the Safari Lodge site offers a complete reef and rainforest experience for adventurers of all ages and abilities.
