Turtle Rock Café Accessibility

Wherever possible, Turtle Rock Café’s warm and welcoming team delight in welcoming people of all abilities to enjoy the stunning natural beauty and atmosphere of this region where two World Heritage Areas meet.

The Turtle Rock Cafe offers a welcoming environment for all patrons, featuring a spacious deck that is on one level, with a wheelchair and pram-accessible entrance on one side. The café also provides an accessible bathroom and change room, as well as accessible parking close to the entrance and service dogs are welcome with plenty of shade and water available. For larger groups, the Turtle Rock Café can also cater for private events and functions.

The inviting atmosphere of Turtle Rock Cafe provides a natural and tranquil setting. The alfresco dining area is illuminated by lighting that enhances the vibrant, tropical ambiance, allowing guests to feel connected to the lush rainforest surroundings.

The drive north from Cairns or Port Douglas over the Daintree River and through the world heritage rainforest to Cape Tribulation is an unforgettable journey.  Driving yourself in a car or campervan is the one of the best ways to leisurely explore this area, however Trans North offer public transport coach services, departing north from Cairns and south from Cooktown. Your destination, the Turtle Rock Café, is located on Cape Tribulation Road, opposite PK’s, in the heart of Cape Tribulation.

The Turtle Rock Café team strive to accommodate where practical and possible, within the constraints of existing infrastructure.  Guests who require additional assistance, depending on individual circumstances, are encouraged to contact Turtle Rock Café’s supportive team to discuss your unique access requirements by phoning (07) 4098 0006 or emailing turtlerock@oceansafari.com.au.
