Choose Your Cruise
Dolphin Wild Island Cruises offers two different tour options and invites you to choose your cruise. Our signature tour is the Moreton Island Eco Marine Safari Cruise and Snorkel – a full-day adventure exploring the crystal-clear waters and soft sand beaches of spectacular Moreton Island.
Boarding at Newport Marina at 730am , spend a relaxing day discovering Moreton Island and its abundant natural beauty. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in a guided snorkel tour through the fascinating Moreton Island Wrecks and be taken on an eco safari to gain some fascinating insights into this precious area and encounter magnificent marine life such as dolphins, turtles and dugongs. The day also allows you to enjoy some free time on Moreton Island, where you can choose to swim in the azure waters or relax in the soft, white sand and soak up some sun. As our tour groups are kept small, we can access exclusive, unspoilt beaches without the crowds.
If you’re after an evening out on the water, our Moreton Bay Sunset Cruise is the perfect way to end your day. Relax and unwind to the accompaniment of live music as you glide your way through beautiful Moreton Bay, awash in shimmering shades of gold, pink and purple, reflecting the spectacular sunset over the water. With a chilled glass of bubbles in hand, inhale the fresh, salty scent of the ocean and feel the sea breeze dance across your face. As the curated cocktails flow and the tunes begin to play, you’ll soon settle into the gentle rhythm of the ocean, and feel your tension wash away.
Whether you’re seeking island paradise and aquatic adventures, or cruisy tunes beneath the setting sun, Dolphin Wild Island Cruises has a tour to suit you!
Our Beautiful Vessel
During your chosen tour, you will be cruising in our beautiful 22-metre catamaran with two levels and four different areas for you to spread out and enjoy. We have been operating in these waters for over 30 years, and our experienced captain and crew are here to ensure your safety and comfort throughout the cruise.
You will be boarding the boat via the back deck, which boasts ladders and easy access into and out of the water when visiting Moreton Island. In the centre of the lower deck is the air-conditioned main saloon where you can sit in climate-controlled comfort in lounges or at tables and chairs while enjoying complimentary tea and coffee or an ice-cold beverage from our fully licensed bar. Two toilets and change rooms are located forward of the main saloon for your convenience.
The lower front deck is opened to passengers while cruising the calm, shallow waters surrounding Moreton Island. This deck is a prime position for spotting aquatic animals or enjoying some relaxed, quiet time during the day.
The partially shaded top deck is a favourite with guests for relaxing, soaking in some sun or gaining an elevated view of wildlife in the pristine waters of Moreton Bay Marine Park. If you’re joining us on our day cruise, this is also where you’ll gear up for your water-based adventures.
