The resort is a national champion in accessibility accreditation, and staff have undertaken a broad range of accessibility awareness training, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Accessible facilities and a genuine eagerness to embrace inclusivity means everyone can experience a truly memorable holiday. The resort is proudly Accessible Accommodation Qualified, and is also accredited as a Quality Tourism Accredited Business in Accessible Tourism in the categories of Limited Mobility, Cognitive/Autism, Low Vision, Low Hearing and Wheelchairs & Scooters.

BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort offers an adapted cabin with thoughtful touches to enhance the experience of guests who are blind or have low vision. Registered assistance animals, such as dog guides assisting travellers who are blind or have low vision, are most welcome at the resort. As a thoughtful touch, service dogs are provided with a box including bowls, bedding and litter bags to make your stay a breeze. Ample grassy areas are available around the resort for toileting your dog. There is some braille signage around the resort. The resort compendium is available on your smart device via scanning a QR code.

The resort offers a range of rooms and facilities to cater for assisted wheelchair users and guests with limited mobility. Accessible parking spaces are provided both at reception and at accommodation, and an accessible bathroom is available for those staying at powered sites. Almost all the areas and facilities throughout the resort are wheelchair accessible. Even the waterpark area is flat and accessible. However, there are stairs leading to the bigger slides.
