PEPPERS SOUL

Peppers Soul boasts a prime beachfront location at 8 The Esplanade, Surfers Paradise, between Elkhorn Avenue and the famous Cavill Avenue. Getting here is a breeze, with Cavill Avenue light rail stop just a few minutes’ leisurely stroll from the hotel’s entrance, and plenty of taxi, Uber, airport transfer and limousine services also available in the area. For those arriving by private vehicle, valet and free, secure undercover parking is available onsite, with overhead clearance of 2.2 metres. Dedicated accessible parking spaces are located at Basement Level 1 of the parking garage. 

Entrance to the grand main foyer is via wide, double sensor sliding doors, with level and barrier-free access. Reception is located on Level 2, with lift access available from the main entry to recaption and guest rooms. This lift offers good circulation space and is accessible to visitors who are blind or have low vision, with tactile and braille buttons, and audio announcements. A separate desk for seated check-in is available at reception.

Peppers Soul offers some ‘easy access’ rooms, which are partially wheelchair accessible and offer increased manoeuvring space for guests with limited mobility.  They have a wide entry off the corridor and lever-style door handles, but the accessibility of these units will depend upon the unique access needs and mobility of the individual.  Shower chairs are available on request. 

Accessible bathroom facilities with braille signage are located on Level 2, opposite hotel reception, and within the hotel’s restaurant, HYDE Paradiso. 

Registered service dogs accompanying their handlers are welcome at the hotel. Grassy areas suitable for their toileting can be found onsite in the Secret Garden area on Level 3, or along the coastal trail that lines the beachfront opposite the hotel.
